Writing Prompts

Making family time is important to me. How do you balance your children, relationship, and work life?  Finding Balance is the key to happiness.

In my work life if I work outside of the house, I just do that job and do it to the best of my ability until the day is over.  I try never to bring my home life to work with me.

In My Home Life I leave my job at my job.  I do not bring it home.  This is a great way to stay balanced.  I separate both into those two categories.  (Home is for Home and Work is for Work)!

I live a Christian Lifestyle so I always put my spouse first well, I actually put God 1st.  I pray and read my bible each day.  I also give the love, attention, and praise to my spouse as the bible says to honor our spouses.  I know we are all different so this is just how I do it.

I could write so much more but this is a great summary.

Day 3 ~ Writing Prompt ~ “Music”

If you’re participating in NaBloPoMo in November 2011

Thursday, November 3, 2011
Can you listen to music and write?  I am one person who can multi-task and listening to music is the most relaxing thing to do while I am writing.

What song did you hear today? The songs I play while I am on my computer while writing can be much of a mix but Yanni and Enya seem to be my favorite to play as I write.

Here are lyrics I love:

Day 4: Beautiful in my Eyes by Joshua Kadison

You’re my peace of mind in this crazy world.
You’re everything I’ve tried to find, your love is a pearl.
You’re my Mona Lisa, you’re my rainbow skies,
and my only prayer is that you realize
you’ll always be beautiful in my eyes.

The world will turn and the seasons will change,
and all the lessons we will learn will be beautiful and strange.
We’ll have our fill of tears, our share of sighs.
And my only prayer is that you realize
you’ll always be beautiful in my eyes.

You will always be beautiful in my eyes.
And the passing years will show
that you will always grow ever more beautiful in my eyes.

When there are lines upon my face from a lifetime of smiles,
and when the time comes to embrace for one long last while,
we can laugh about how time really flies.
We won’t say goodbye ’cause true love never dies.
You’ll always be beautiful in my eyes.

You will always be beautiful in my eyes.
And the passing years will show
that you will always grow ever more beautiful in my eyes.
The passing years will show that you will always grow
ever more beautiful in my eyes.

What about You?

Day 1: Writing Prompt-What is my favorite part about writing?

What is my favorite part about writing? I love that I have to freedom to write what I want.  I can choose topics of any one that I love.  Since joining this challenge I am going to try to challenge myself more than normal, even as I am getting ready to move for the 3rd time in one year to my final house destination (I hope).

That is the writing prompt for the first day of National Blog Posting Month: NaBloPoMo, as it is affectionately called.

The task is to publish a post every day of the month. This is one of my writing goals for this month.

I have been featured as a book reviewer here:http://midwestbookreview.com/rbw/nov_11.htm#rc
